Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers (CCPRB) is the leading manufacturer, bottler and distributor of non-alcoholic beverages in Puerto Rico. In partnership with our Navistar dealer, Guaraguao Truck Sales, Inc., Hackney has been supplying CCPRB with traditional Hackney 10-bay beverage bodies and more recently the smaller, specialized Hackney 6-bay units.
CCPRB came to Hackney with several issues in their delivery system and Hackney was able to solve each problem with the specialized Hackney 6-Bay trucks.

Small Deliveries with a Large Variety
Instead of having all the products stacked in one bay. Hackney offered multiple adjustable shelves in each bay to separate the different products for easy access. With smaller routes and a more diverse product offering, CCPRB can better manage each delivery. -
Transverse Bays
Hackney gave CCPB an open truck interior, eliminating the A-Frame wall partition, so product can be easily moved from one side of the truck to the other. -
Easy-Slide Bay Liners
CCPRB needed less drag on the shelves to slide the product easily and efficiently. Hackney’s solution was to up-fit the shelves with smooth plastic bay liners. -
Vertical Restraining Bars
To keep product from damaging the doors in transit, Hackney included vertical restraining bars. Not only does this minimize harm to doors, but it protects the driver from falling products and CCPRB from damaged goods. -
Safe Footing
Hackney added an additional layer of step safety with a durable, non-skid epoxy for reaching the higher shelves safely. -
Non-CDL
When loads are less than 26K lbs, including the truck, CCPRB does not need a driver with a CDL license for the specialized Hackney 6-Bay bodies.
